The origin of timber matters as much as its appearance, and certification is how it is verified. In Indonesia, the three schemes most often seen are SVLK, FSC and PEFC.

SVLK

Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas dan Kelestarian is Indonesia's national system for verifying that timber comes from legal, traceable sources. WiraDoor uses SVLK-certified timber.

FSC

The Forest Stewardship Council is an international certification for responsible forest management. It also offers chain-of-custody certification to track timber through the supply chain.

PEFC

The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification is an international forest certification scheme with its own chain-of-custody standard, tracing material from forest to finished product.
